How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Order before 2PM EST, Monday-Friday, and we will ship your order the next business day. Shipping takes 1-6 business days.  We also offer 2-day and overnight delivery for an additional charge.  Please see our Shipping page for more information.

How long will your cookies last? 
Our cookies last for a rather long time; generally they are still good to eat for up to 4-6 weeks.  But please keep in mind that our cookies are firm to begin with, much like a shortbread cookie.  They need to be this way in order for us to be able to able to apply the royal icing and decorate them, plus it makes them sustain the shipping process much better.

What happened to BeautifulCookies.com?
We are still the same great company we were before. Now, we've taken on the challenge, as requested by some of our loyal customers, to create new, gourmet products that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. We wanted a name that fit the new direction of the company.

Why are you making your cookies organic? Will they taste different?
We have gone organic because we believe that it's better for the environment, and our general health, to eat/cook organically. The cookies will taste the same, but more "real" for lack of a better word (although we are firm believers that they actually taste better!).  With our cookies there are no preservatives, artificial ingredients, pesticides, hormones, or chemicals to get in the way.

What does organic mean?
It means that the government has certified that we don't use products that have been grown with harsh chemical fertilizers and pesticides. None of the dairy items come from cows that have been fed animal products or any food that is not organic or been given steroids to increase milk production.

All of our ingredients are real, all-natural, chemical-free, certified organic ingredients. This way, you're tasting the real thing and keeping your body free from harmful chemicals. You're also helping support family farmers and keeping our soil healthy for generations to come.

If you claim to be organic, why aren't you displaying your USDA Certified Organic logo? 
This is just a temporary thing, that pertains to our kitchen having moved from NJ to CO.  Whenever you change the location of your facility a certified organic inspector must come out to take a look at your new facility.   We have this scheduled to occur and we will soon again be able to display the USDA Organic emblem.   However, please rest assured that we are currently using nothing but organic ingredients in our bakery.

We're a green company, so we're limiting our use of paper. Instead, use our website as your most complete catalog.

How long have you been in business?
Beautiful Cookies was originally founded in November of 2000, with the first location being Ridgewood, NJ.  The company has recently been re-located to Colorado and with our staff of highly experienced pastry chefs we continue to offer the same organic, high-quality, gorgeously hand-decorated cookies that the company has become know for over the years.  See the About page to learn more.

What if I have a problem with my order?
Although this is a very rare occurrence for us, we will do anything we can to correct any difficulties.  Please call or e-mail us and also please see our Guarantee page for further information.

Do you use any nuts in the preparation of your cookies?
As many people have sensitivities and/or allergies to nuts, we do not use nuts in any of our products.  Our bakery is also a nut-free facility.

How many cookies come in a gift box?
Our most popular order consists of a gift box that includes 24 cookies (of 6 different styles) . However, you can order as few as 4 cookies (featuring one style), up to as many as 64 cookies in one gift box!

Do you take special orders?
Yes, absolutely!  Generally, we don't alter the cookies found in our standard gift sets, but we can certainly customize any of our party favors. How can I start up a Beautiful Sweets Franchise?
At this time we are not pursuing any franchises, but may do so in the future.

What type of press has your company had?
We've appeared on The Food Network's RECIPE FOR SUCCESS, UNWRAPPED and ROKER ON THE ROAD programs, and have been featured in many national magazines and newspapers. Do you sell the food-coloring markers separately?
Yes, we do. They are located in the Color Your Own Cookies section.

Do you offer sugar-free cookies?
No, we are sorry but all of our products contain sugar. The main ingredient in the icing is sugar and cannot be substituted.

How big are the cookies in the gift boxes?
The cookies average about 3". Some cookies may be as small as 2" or as large as 4".  The 24-cookie gift box contains approximately 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of our delicious cookies.

How can I get a coupon?
From time to time we do offer coupon discounts.  The best way to stay in the loop on such offers is by subscribing to our newsletter, which you can do by clicking the newsletter link found on the left-hand side of this page (or you can also sign up during the check-out process).
